Is your organisation looking for Welding Procedure, Welder and or NDT Operator Qualifications?
Maybe you have to satisfy a product/application standard requirement?
We can help with your Welding Procedure Qualifications.
We can help with your Welding Procedure Qualifications. In addition we can qualify your welders, welding operators, brazing procedures, brazers and NDT Operators to a wide range of standards and codes. These include British, European and International standards and also those codes that have international standard recognition in certain industrial sectors.
WQ-iC Ltd are fully committed to deliver a quality service to all of our customers, irrelevant of size or industry sector. This is demonstrated by our 17020, 17024 and 17065 accreditations with INAB.
Some industry sectors and some clients require that Welding Procedure Qualifications and Welder Qualifications are issued by a Type A inspection body under ISO/IEC 17020/24 which demonstrates impartiality and integrity. This also applies to NDT Operators specifically for PED under 17024.
Sectors that involve pressurised equipment that fall under the pressure equipment directive (PED) require the services of a Notified Body or Recognised Third Party Organisation (RTPO). WQiC Ltd satisfy all these requirements as an appointed RTPO and therefore can issue universally accepted permanent joining and NDE Operator qualifications.
WQiC can offer ISO/IEC 17020 Certificates and or Personnel Certification issued under our ISO/IEC 17024 system.
Various standards and codes for a wide range of industry sectors
WQiC can qualify welding tests to various standards and codes across a wide range of industry sectors. Whether you are requiring welding tests to satisfy BS EN1090 or require your welders to be coded for work on pressure pipework or vessels (ASME IX) WQiC can do this for you.
Various Industry sectors and organisations use a wide range of terminology to mean the same thing, hence this could include; welding procedure tests, welder coding tests, coded welder tests, welder approval tests and coded welding tests, all of which usually originate from an application standard or contract specifications. In recent years the word welding procedure approval and welder approval have been changed by ISO (International Standards Organisation) to ‘welding procedure qualifications’ and ‘welder qualification tests’ so that this falls in line with the ASME terminology.
Finally, no matter what your requirements are, we at WQiC can discuss them with you and assist you in meeting your contractual obligations. Contact us now to find out more.
